The Rural Road Programme which is to be carried out here with funding from the European Union, is expected to enhance the investment climate in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The point was made by Mikael Barford, the European Union’s Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean, during a News Conference yesterday.
The Briefing was held following the signing of an agreement with the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 21-million EC-dollars to improve the rural infrastructure of the country.
Ambassador Barford spoke of the significance of the project.
