A Bill to facilitate the move towards E-Governance here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines was one of two passed during this morning’s session of Parliament.
The Electronic Filing Bill was tabled by Minster responsible for Information and Communications Technology, Camillo Gonsalves.
In presenting the measure, Minister Gonsalves explained that the legislation is intended to enable information to be filed electronically.
Minter Gonsalves noted that the legislation is expected to facilitate the improved efficiency of the Public Service.

Members of Parliament also passed the Electronic Transactions Bill, during this morning’s session.
Parliament has been suspended until three this afternoon.
