The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) is currently making preparations to launch its I-Square competition for 2015/2016, later this year.
The Competition is geared towards allowing students from Secondary and Tertiary level Institutions to put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the current departments within the Public service and other state agencies that provide services to the public.
Universal Service Fund (USF) Project Officer at the NTRC, Keisha Gurley said the competition will be launched on September 10th.
She noted that they are continuing to hold the I-square to encourage more students to utilize technology to aid in national development while developing new ideas that are not already in use.
Miss Gurley said they are also offering a number of attractive prizes to serve as an incentive to get students involved in the different categories of the competition.
Miss Gurley also outlined some of the rules of the competition.
