Epidemiologist Dr. Rosmond Adams, presented findings from a Survey conducted here to estimate the prevalence of the risk factors associated with Non Communicable Diseases.
The results of the survey will help to establish baseline information, which will be used to aid in the prevention and control of Non Communicable Diseases in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He said the survey, which was carried out from November 2013 to April 2014, was done in stages.
The findings will help to establish Public Health Measures, and Dr. Adams said that they hope to repeat the survey every three to five years in order to assess any changes.
