Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will host a News Conference today to brief the nation on his most recent overseas engagement.
The Prime Minister led this country’s delegation to the CARICOM/USA Summit, held in Jamaica on Thursday April 9th. He was among Caricom leaders meeting with United States President Barack Obama.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by his wife, Eloise, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Camillo Gonsalves.
From Jamaica the Prime Minister and his delegation traveled to Panama for the 7th Summit of the Americas meeting, in Panama City.
This country’s Ambassador to Venezuela, Andreas Wickham, joined the delegation for that meeting, which was held under the theme: Prosperity with Equity – The Challenge of Cooperation in the
Americas.
Today’s News Conference is scheduled to begin at nine this morning at Cabinet Room.
