GECCU Calliaqua advanced to the semi-finals of the Hairoun/Digicel/ St. Vincent Co-operative Bank National Community League Football Championship following a 3-1 victory over West Kingstown during extra-time after a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation time in the quarter-finals last night at Victoria Park.
Lezlo Mc Kenzie scored one goal for GECCU Calliaqua in regulation time and Ronaldo Baptiste netted for West Kingstown.
Mc Kenzie added two more goals to his tally for GECCU Calliaqua during extra-time to make three.
In another match, defending champions Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Barrouallie were knocked out after they were beaten 2-1 by National Lotteries Authority Central Kingstown.
In the other quarter-final matches today, Layou will meet East Kingstown and, South Leeward will oppose Georgetown this evening.
