Police are carrying out investigations into a road fatality that occurred at the Georgetown public road, earlier this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations claim, Makayla Abbott, a four-year-old girl, was involved in an accident with a mini-bus about 1:40pm. She was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Hospital at 2:05p.m.
A post mortem examination will be carried out on the body of the deceased.
There have been six fatal road accidents for 2015, which have resulted in twelve deaths.
Meanwhile … The police are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the attempted murder of Romano Farrell, 26yrs, mechanic of Brighton, which occurred, at Brighton on 15.04.15.
Reports are that Farrrell sustained gunshot wounds to his right shoulder and stomach.
