The Caribbean Farmers Network (CaFAN) said it will be implementing a health-based marketing strategy for a number of agricultural commodities, which are produced throughout the region.
That’s according to Chief Co-ordinator of CaFAN, Jethro Greene, as he spoke of some of the initiatives to be implemented by the organization, which is responsible for the marketing of agricultural commodities.
Speaking to NBC News, Mr. Greene said this new strategy will have far reaching benefits to small economies like St. Vincent and the Grenadines, particularly in the areas of health and the economy.
Mr. Greene said other initiatives include expanding the number of commodities as well as direct hotel marketing.
