Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has left the state for the meeting between Regional Heads of Government and the US President Barack Obama in Jamaica tomorrow.
He is being accompanied by his wife, Eloise, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Camillo Gonsalves.
From Jamaica the Prime Minister and his delegation will travel to Panama for the 7th Summit of the Americas meeting, in Panama City.
The Ambassador to Venezuela, Andreas Wickham, will join the delegation for that meeting, which will be held under the theme Prosperity with Equity – The Challenge of Cooperation in the Americas”
At the Summit, the Heads will discuss issues such as Education; health; Energy; Environment; Migration; Security and Democratic Governance.
The Prime Minister is expected to return to the state early next week.
