A ceremony to mark the completion of physical works at the Lowmans Bay Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility will be held next week Tuesday.
The Fuel Storage Facility is a joint venture between the Government of Venezuela and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
This initiative falls under the petro Caribe Agreement with a value of 40 million US dollars
Tuesday’s ceremony is scheduled to begin at 3pm.
There will be address by Chief Executive Officer of VINLEC, Thornley Myers; President of Miracle Mission Rosa Chavez; President of the Petro Caribe/Alba Bank Joint venture Bernado Alvarez; and Vice President of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves will deliver the feature address.
The Fuel Storage and Distribution Facility would increase the capacity for storing fuel in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for approximately three months.
