Chief Engineer in the Ministry of Transport and Works Brent Bailey says the Ministry has made significant progress on a number of its development projects over the past month.
He tells NBC News, they have commenced work on the Carapan Village Road and the contractor will be fixing approximately one thousand feet of roads.
Mr. Bailey said the contractor for this project is Cato Heavy Equipment and he also outlined some of the other work which will be carried out under this project.
Mr. Bailey said work has also commenced at the Swamp Gut Road in Layou.
