Members and supports of the Unity Labour Party, ULP gathered at the Calliaqua Playing Field on Saturday night for a rally, to celebrate the party’s 14th anniversary in office.
The main address at the event was delivered by the Party’s political leader, Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, who outlined the major achievements of the ULP administration, since taking office in 2001.
The Prime Minister said significant gains have been made in several areas, including Education, Agriculture, and Employment.
And he noted that the country has already begun to derive benefits from the International Airport which is being constructed at Argyle.
