The featured speaker at the event was Comptroller of Inland Revenue Kelvin Pompey, who pointed out that a robust and sustained partnership between the public and private sector is crucial to fostering economic growth in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Mr. Pompey also noted that the Chamber has an important role to play in the growth and development of the private sector.
Mr. Pompey said the global financial crisis highlighted some of the inefficiencies which exist in local businesses.
