Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has expressed regret at the abrupt closure of KFC SVG Limited this week.
Speaking at Tuesday’s News Conference, Dr. Gonsalves said he was particularly concerned about the plight of the workers.
KFC SVG Limited, owned by Businessman Ormiston Ken Boyea ceased operation on Monday, leaving several persons without a job.
Discussions are reported to be ongoing about the re-financing of the Company.
KFC is part of St Clair Investments, which is the parent company for the three KFC Restaurants, as well as Pizza Hut and W.J Abbots.
