A one-week Photo Exhibition will open here this afternoon, as part of activities to observe National Heroes and Heritage Month.
The Exhibition dubbed: Garifuna and Descendants will be staged at the Old Public Library Building in Kingstown from today to Friday by the Alliance Francaise and the Cultural Affairs Division in Martinique.
It will feature photographs of Garifuna People from St. Vincent and the Grenadines taken by Robert Charlotte from Martinique.
An official opening ceremony will be held from five this afternoon at the Carnegie Building.
Other activities throughout the month include a display of a Model Indigenous Village at the National Public Library in Kingstown; the Greiggs Heritage Festival and Remembrance Ceremonies for E.T Joshua; Milton Cato and Lewis Punnett.
The highlight of the month of activities will be the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Obelisk on Saturday March 14th at Dorsetshire Hill.
