A number of Vincentian women will have the opportunity to be trained in the area of Journalism through a pilot project to be undertaken by the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC).
The WACC is a non-governmental organization that builds on communication rights in order to promote social justice.
It offers guidance and support to people of all faiths, ethnicities, and cultures worldwide.
Volita Tucker, Secretary-Treasurer at the National Council of Women (NCW), which is coordinating the project locally, said the project is intended to train participants in media communication.
Miss Tucker said upon completion of the programme, participants will have the opportunity to interact with members of the community.
