A Major program dubbed Vincy Lime will be held by the Friends of Crown Height Educational Centers Incorporated in New York, next month.
The event which takes place on Saturday March 7th at the Friends of Crown Heights Center number two will be hosted in conjunction with the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Consulate, SVG Diaspora Committee of New York Incorporated and the Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Organization (COSAGO).
SVG Consul General in New York City, Selmon Walters tells NBC News the event features a Symposium on Immigration which will take place to have Vincentians regularize their status in the United States.
Mr. Walters said the event will also feature a White Sheet Drive where they will be collecting Sheets to donate to Hospitals in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
He said they will also host a St. Vincent and the Grenadines passport Drive for many persons who normally would not be able to deal with this issue during their working hours from Monday to Friday.
The event is scheduled to take place from 1:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday March 7th.
