The Police will be addressing the issue of Seat Belts and Helmets during its weekly Police On The Beat Radio Discussion Program tonight.
The Police say it has been observed that a number of motorists continue to drive without their seat belts fastened as stipulated by the Traffic Laws.
They say too many motor cyclists and pedal cyclists use the road without helmets.
Several persons have sustained injuries and even fatalities have resulted from this dangerous and illegal practice.
These issues will be discussed from eight tonight with panelists from the Traffic Department
