The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Commerce and Information Technology will undertake an essay writing competition targeting Vincentian students and the general public alike.
The competition is being organized as part of the Ministry’s initiative to enlighten the public on the roles and functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the importance of public diplomacy within the Society.
The competition will be launched at two this afternoon at the Ministry’s Conference Room.
The competition targets Vincentians between the ages of 15 and 25, and the target group will be split into three categories, with prizes to be awarded accordingly.
The Ministry says the competition is also being held to coincide with activities to mark National Heroes Month.
