A two-day Workshop targeting Nurses who work in the Community Health Service will be held here later this month
The National Family Planning Unit will host the practical workshop at the Division of Nursing Education of the SVG Community College on February 23rd and 24th.
The aim is to enhance the quality and care of reproductive health services provided at all Health Centers.
A release from the Ministry of Health says the Training Program will seek to address the pelvic assessment in relation to the Intra-Uterine Contraceptive Device IUCD insertion at the health centres, as well as provide health care workers with knowledge and skills needed to promote the use of the IUCD
Facilitators at the Workshop will be drawn from the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.
