A bronze Cross belonging to the Cathedral of St. George in Kingstown was reported stolen yesterday in the latest in a series of attacks on the church in recent months.
Dean of the Cathedral, Patrick McIntosh, tells NBC News that the discovery of the missing cross was made yesterday afternoon.
It follows a number of other attacks on the Church, including the burning of the Alter at Sion Hill in January and a break-in at Lowmans earlier this month.
Father McIntosh said the Church and its membership is deeply concerned about the recent attacks.
Father McIntosh said the attacks are having a negative impact on the functioning of the church.
