Work is continuing to ensure that citizens of the Caribbean region are fully informed about the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) and its implications on their lives.
As part of this work program a one-day workshop is being held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines today to ensure that information regarding the CSME is taught in schools across the country, by the nation’s teachers.
It is being hosted as part of the CARICOM Trade and Competitiveness Project (CTCP) in the CARICOM Region Component 300.
Speaking during the opening of today’s workshop dubbed “CSME Teacher Training Workshop St. Vincent and the Grenadines”, Ambassador to CARICOM, Ellsworth John said the workshop is integral as they hope to have the nation’s students understand the CSME in its entirety.
