Teachers of the Gomea Methodist School will focus on helping pupils at the School to improve their reading abilities, when the School hosts a number of activities to observe Literacy Week.
This year’s activities will run from tomorrow to Friday under the theme: ‘Connecting our communities through numeracy and literacy’.
Deputy Principal of the School and member of the organizing committee, Sheridan Edwards, said this year’s focus is on improving the reading comprehension and numeracy skills of students.
Miss Edwards said a diverse array of activities will be held throughout
the week.
