Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves spoke about the remarkable progress of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College during his Budget Presentation.
The College was established by the Government in 2005, with the central objective to provide a high quality of post-secondary and tertiary level education at an affordable cost.
The Prime Minister said the College has a current student population of over two-thousand and Government will continue to invest heavily in the Education Sector.
The Prime Minister said several initiatives have been taken at the Community College to enhance learning and teaching.
The Community College Campus at Villa was recently expanded at a cost of 34-million dollars
