Minister of Social Development, Frederick Stevenson, said the various departments within the Ministry have realigned existing programmes in an effort to improve efficiency in their delivery.
He spoke of these efforts during his contribution to the 2015 national Budget Debate in Parliament last week.
Minister Stevenson said the ministry has consolidated various programmes to reduce duplication of inter and intra-agency efforts as well as design new programmes to meet the social needs of Vincentians.
Minister Stevenson said the programmes of the last year have set the pace for further development in 2015.
