Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning of 16-year-old Junior Williams of Redemption Sharpes, which occurred, at Petit Byahaut on Saturday.
Reports indicate that Williams went on an excursion with friends on the Leeward side of the Island, and a stop was made at Petit Byahaut.
Williams and two (2) other young men reportedly went to swim and he disappeared underwater. His body was later discovered at the bottom of the sea.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body to ascertain the cause of death.
