The Central Water and Sewerage Authority says this year it will commence work to develop recycling facilities in the Grenadines.
Manager of the Solid Waste Management Unit in the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA), Winsbert Quow tells NBC News that this program has been in the planning stages for a number of years.
He said they are hoping to utilize the Recycling process for garbage in the Grenadines as they continue with their objective to ensure the proper disposal of waste, to minimize the harmful effects on the natural environment and ensuring that St. Vincent and the Grenadines remains clean and beautiful for everyone.
