The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard Service is refuting claims circulating in the local media that it’s response to the tragic motor-vehicular accident, on Monday January 12th, was lacking.
Five persons lost their lives and many others hospitalized when the bus in which they were traveling went over an embankment and into the sea.
Speaking at a news conference yesterday, Lieutenant Ralphie Ragguette of the SVG Coast Guard Service, said the safety of its divers on the scene was of paramount importance.
