Police have resumed the search for the missing persons who were involved in an accident in Owia yesterday.
The persons were passengers in a mini-bus went over an embankment and ended up into the sea at Rock Gutter yesterday morning.
Police Officials say five bodies have so far been recovered and fourteen persons remain in hospital – ten at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and four at the Georgetown Hospital.
Meanwhile … The National Emergency Management Organization, NEMO has established a Crisis Centre Fancy to provide support to persons affected by the tragic accident.
NEMO’s Director Howie Prince says the Centre will be housed at the Adventist Church in Fancy and will be operated for several days.
