The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association has presented a Table Tennis Board and two Rackets to the Lodge Village Government School on Tuesday.
They were handed over to Acting Principal of the School Mrs. Cassandra Barrow, President of the SVG Table Tennis Association Mr. Tyrone Jack, while Coach Joseph Carrington, Acting Director of Sports Mr. Woodrow Williams, Class Teacher Mrs. Anita Daniel and Coach Deighton King was on hand to witness the Ceremony.
In his remarks at the handing over Ceremony, President of the Association, Tyrone Jack said the gift was part of the Association’s plan to work with the Ministry of Education and the Division of Physical Education and Sport to develop Table Tennis throughout the country.
The Division of Physical Education and Sports is currently conducting Table Tennis Coaching Sessions in Primary and Secondary Schools here.
