Acting Director of Forestry, Fitzgerald Providence, says most persons have been complying with the guidelines which govern the hunting of wildlife.
The Hunting Season for Mammals and Reptiles will end on January 31st.
Mr. Providence noted that most of the persons hunting wildlife have been adopting a more humane approach to the treatment of the animals.
Mr. Providence however pointed out that the Ministry is continuing to receive complaints about persons entering private property to hunt wildlife and he reminded hunters that this is against the law.
