Minister of Education, Girlyn Miguel has said that the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is continuing to invest heavily in the Education Sector.
Contributing to the debate on the 2015 Budgetary Estimates, Minister Miguel said significant amount of funds have been allocated to the Ministry of Education.
She said one major area is the Secondary School Book Loan Scheme.
Minister Miguel said monies have also been allocated for the Girls High School and St. Vincent Grammar School Development Project, as well as the upgrading of the Ministry’s Head Office.
