Chief Agricultural Officer, Ashley Caine has said that the commercial production of Papua is one area which can be explored in the New Year.
He made this statement in response to a question about Agricultural diversification, during a recent press briefing.
Mr. Caine said Papua is a crop which has potential to generate income but has never been fully explored.
Mr. Caine said if farmers decide to produce Papua the Ministry will assist in this regard to ensure that the crop is produced at the best quality.
