Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a resident of Carrierre, who died following a shooting incident yesterday
Police say 59-year Security Guard Reynold Bascombe sustained gunshot wounds about his body during the incident, which occurred at about eleven-thirty yesterday morning in Carriere
According to the Police, Bascombe subsequently died from his injuries at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital today.
A postmortem examination is expected to be performed on the body to ascertain the cause of death.
Meanwhile Police say Antwone Quincy Anthony, 39yrs, self-employed man of Questelles, was arrested and charged yesterday with, being the driver of motor vehicle P-7516, causing the death of Edgar Cruickshank of Questelles, by driving the said vehicle dangerously, at Clare Valley, on Saturday December 6th .
Cruickshank sustained injuries about his body and subsequently died at the Milton Cato Hospital, after he was struck by motor vehicle P-7516, driven by Anthony, on Sunday December 6th
