Minister of Agriculture Saboto Caesar today highlighted the need for agricultural programmes to be developed, that are tailored specifically to the needs of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Minister Caesar made the point, as addressed a ceremony to mark the official launch of the local chapter of the Agriculture Policy Program (APP) for CARIFORUM.
The program is intended to identify Agricultural Commodities which are best suited for regional countries to develop their Agricultural production and maximize their benefits from Agriculture.
The programme is being implemented by the Inter-American Institute for Co-operation on Agriculture, IICA and the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute, CARDI
