St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented this Thursday and Friday at a Regional Seminar in Trinidad and Tobago which will be held as part of the CARICOM/JAPAN Cooperation Agreement.
Acting Chief Fisheries Officer, Jennifer Howard Cruickshank who will be representing the state during this two-day consultation tells NBC News that this seminar will be held as the region plans the way forward I the fishing sector.
Mrs. Howard Cruickshank said the Fisheries Division hosted a seminar during the month of November as a lead up to this program as they continue to commemorate the 20th anniversary of CARICOM/JAPAN Cooperation.
Mrs. Howard Cruickshank also said St. Vincent and the Grenadines continues to enjoy positive diplomatic relations with Japan and the meeting this Thursday and Friday will be held to continue strengthening these relations between Japan and the region.
