Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves said he sees the Parent Company East Caribbean Group of Companies as an excellent one, which brings great value to the Government
However, the Prime Minister said the issue of severance for the workers of Bottlers Limited needs to be addressed soon.
The East Caribbean Group of Companies acquired the assets of Bottlers St. Vincent Ltd in March this year; nearly four years after Bottlers went into receivership.
The new Company now employs 40 Vincentians of which half of those were workers under the previous company, Bottlers St. Vincent Ltd.
