The Ministry of Transport and Works is advising persons that the portion of road between the entrances to Murray Village and Sally Spring will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic from tonight.
This is to facilitate rehabilitative works on that portion of the Windward highway.
Speaking on the Police On the Beat programme on NBC Radio last night, Police Constable Cali Gonsalves of the Traffic Department, said measures are being put in place to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.
Meanwhile, Sergeant Junior Nero of the Traffic Department, is urging motorists to utilize the bypass route which is in place to facilitate repairs on the Argyle main road.
