Staff members of the Farmers Support Company are currently undergoing training in microfinance and cooperative development.
The training is spearheaded by the St. Vincent Cocoa Company and the Facilitator is Rural Finance and Cooperative Development Expert, Iven Ose.
Agriculture Minister Saboto Caesar says the main aim of the training is to build the human resource base of the Farmers Support Company.
This he says is to ensure that the Farmers Support Company provides the most efficient service to the farmers of St. Vincent and Grenadines,
Rural Finance and Cooperative Development Expert, Iven Ose, congratulated Minister Caesar for his approach and vision for agriculture in St. Vincent and the Grenadines with respect to the Farmers Support Company.
He said he visited the Manager and staff of the Farmers Support Company and he was very impressed with the analysis being done on the individual clients.
