Representatives from the public sector today took part in the World Trade Organization’s WTO reference Centre training workshop.
The workshop organized by the ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Commerce and Information Technology marks the official opening of the upgraded WTO reference Centre here.
Giving remarks at the opening ceremony Director of Trade Cuthbert Knights said the WTO Reference Centre is a very important facility as it allows persons to access information from the world trade organization.
He urged members of the public to make full use the facility
And … Advisor in the World Trade Organization Committee for Trade and Environment Janet SHA-CARE-RIAN outlined the basic objectives of the reference Centre.
The workshop which targets different individuals in the community is expected to continue with members of the private sector tomorrow at the Foreign Affairs Conference Room.
