Residents of this country will have access to information about the World Trade Organization at the opening of a World Trade Organization Reference Centre here next week.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host the ceremony next Tuesday beginning at 10am.
The World Trade Organization has provided this country with computer equipment to facilitate the operation of the WTO Reference Centre.
The objective is to enable Government Officials, the Private Sector and the Academic Community to have a regular updated and direcgt privileged link to the trade-information resources of the WTO Secretariat in Geneva.
Officials of the World Trade Organization will conduct training on the use of the Centre.
The training will be conducted in two phases – the first phase will target Government Officials on November 11th and 12th while the Private Sector will have their turn on November 13th.
The training will take place at the Ministry’s Conference Room.
