Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne, said in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, like many countries in the region, is unlikely to record any significant growth over the next two years.
He gave the grim outlook during his Independence Day message on Monday, on the occasion of this country’s 35th anniversary of Independence.
Sir Frederick said a number of challenges continue to impede this country’s developmental efforts.
Sir Frederick said Vincentians continue to grapple with the effects of these various challenges.
