A National Project aimed at strengthening Communities to respond to Natural Disasters will be launched here this week.
The project entitled Resilient Livelihoods – Supporting Youth and Strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation will be launched on Tuesday.
The Pan-American Development Foundation – PADF, is partnering with the Republic of China to carry out the project here.
One of the primary aims of the Project is to provide climate change mitigation and adaptation training for one hundred young people. It also seeks to create economic opportunities and promote social progress in the country
The launching ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Grenadine House, Kingstown Park on Tuesday October 21st from 10am.
