The National Emergency Management Organization, NEMO, is hosting a workshop today to discuss the Country Document for Disaster Risk Reduction in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
NEMO says the workshop is being held to provide an overview of the country document and present and revise the draft version of the document.
It is also aimed at obtaining agreement on the content of the document and identifying key actions and next steps for disaster Risk Reduction in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
According to NEMO, a brief presentation on each section of the document will be provided to participants, and the presentation will be followed by group work, to identify gaps and any inaccuracies in the information presented.
The workshop is taking place at NEMO’S Conference Room at Old Montrose.
