Five National Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Recovery Centres have been launched in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Centres are at the SVG Community College, Olliverre Maintenance Services; S.G. Defrietas and Company Limited, Trotman’s Electronics Services Limited. and Mustique Company.
Assistant Ozone Officer Brenton Quammie says the Centres will enable Technicians to be better able to recover refrigerants in an environmentally manner
Meanwhile … two Ozone Educational Handbooks were launched during Tuesday’s Ceremony.
Assistant Ozone Officer Lisette Louis says the books were published out of the need to further educate the public about ozone protection.
