The Second Annual Idea and Innovation Competition known as the I-square competition is now open to students at the Secondary and Tertiary levels.
The competition, organized by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC) was officially launched yesterday.
The Competition is geared towards allowing students from Secondary and Tertiary level Institutions to put forward ideas that can implement new systems or improve existing systems in the Public service and other State Agencies.
Project Coordinator Shanka Edwards outlined the objectives and rules of the competition.
Meanwhile … Minister of Information Technology, Camillo Gonsalves has highlighted the importance of the competition, where the students are being challenged to develop and present projects in the form of Ideas and Mobile Applications.
The competition is being held from today until January 15th 2015 and has as its tagline “Bring Your Ideas to Light”.
