A National Workshop on Sweet Potato Value Chain will be held here next week.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will host the workshop in collaboration with Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI).
The Workshop will address issues such as the purpose and objectives of the CARDI/CTA Root and Tuber Value Chain Project; the importance of value chains in agriculture; and Stakeholders’ visions of a competitive Sweet Potato Industry.
The session takes place next Tuesday September 16th, at the Fisheries Conference Room, Kingstown and will begin at 8:30am.
