Local Banana farmers can look forward to a major boost for the sector in the upcoming months, as they prepare to increase production to meet expanding demand.
Minister of Agriculture Saboto Ceaser announced at a News Conference on Wednesday that there is now a greater demand for locally produced bananas.
Minister Ceaser said the Ministry of Agriculture has completed another round of aerial spraying, as efforts continue here to control the black sigatoka disease.
