Primary Schools in the North and South Leeward Communities, as well as in Kingstown are being judged today in the Courts Reading Competition.
The Preliminary Round of the Competition began today, and the Finals are slated for September 25th.
Representative from the Ministry of Education Mavis Joseph outlined the rules of the competition at its launch on Monday.
The Preliminaries will continue tomorrow for students in the Georgetown, Union, Marriaqua and Calliaqua zones, on Friday it will be the turn for students in the Northern Grenadines on Friday and students in the Southern Grenadines will face the judges on Monday.
Seven students will be selected to compete in the Finals of the Reading Competition on Thursday September 25th.
The winner of the finals will represent this country at the OECS Finals in Grenadines
