A buoyant West Indies enter the 1st Dhaka Bank Cricket Test against Bangladesh here at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex, convinced they can brush aside the minnows and extend their domination of the Home Series.
West Indies rolled over Bangladesh 3-nil in the preceding One-Day International series with the greatest of ease and will carry the momentum into the two-Test series, when it gets going at 10 O’clock this morning.
More importantly, the West Indies will use the series to rebound from the disappointment of their loss to New Zealand in the three-Test series back in June, their third straight Test series defeat.
And, Captain Denesh Ramdin, told the Media yesterday that they were disappointed to lose the Test series against New Zealand, but they will be hoping to take a positive lesson from that series & beat Bangladesh.
Ramdin said they are yet to announce the composition of team.
